Page Bleeds
If you’re printing a book in color, you’ll likely be asked by your printer to set up “bleeds” for the pages. It can get confusing, so let’s go over some of the basics.

Creating a Favicon
This is one of those little touches that helps to elevate a Web site’s professional polish.
A favicon is a small (16 x 16 pixels) custom-made symbol that appears in your reader’s browser (in the address bar) when they visit your site. It also gets carried over to other places like bookmarks, tabbed browsers and shortcuts.

Contest

Lay out your book in ten minutes flat
I mentioned this in the Private Forum yesterday, but I thought it might help to have a step-by-step guide to importing a batch of image files into a multi-page document. If you’re laying out a book, this will save you from having to import each comic (or each page) individually.

A Very Webcomics Christmas
As you’ll note, this has been posted in full on the public side of Webcomics.com. Please feel free to copy-and-paste it to your own sites, Facebook profiles, etc., and spread the promotion. NOTE: You will not be able to use the “Share Article” widget at the bottom of the post. Since most of the posts on this site are private, that feature was diabled. If you need the HTML version, scroll all the way down.
