It’s no secret. I hate those “Top-XX” list sites that require you to put their buttons on your site, beg readers to vote and send traffic to their site in return for a questionable amount of traffic. I think it identifies your comic as low-rent and, more importantly, I think it’s distracting you (and your readers) from taking adavntage of some seriously powerful social networking entities (Twitter, Facebook, StumbleUpon, etc.) that are readily available and widely in use.

To set a Fan Page up, go to Facebook’s site for creating a fan page. At first, your Fan Page will be a glorified Facebook profile page — Wall, photos, news feed, list of fans, and so on. Of course, you don’t want to stop there.
