Give Yourself the Gift of Time Off: Low-Impact Holiday Content Ideas for Cartoonists

The holiday season has a way of sneaking up on us — and suddenly we’re juggling year-end deadlines, family commitments, travel, disrupted schedules, and a creative engine that’s running on whatever fumes are left in the tank.

For independent cartoonists, this is exactly when the pressure hits hardest: Should I keep posting? Will my Patreon dip? Will readers drift away if I take time off?

Here’s the truth: you can (and should!) give yourself some breathing room during the holidays — without losing momentum.

The trick is to plan a little low-impact content that keeps your audience warm while giving you space to recharge.

The content you are trying to access is only available to members.
