I’m a professional cartoonist which means I’m writing almost constantly. I’m also a regular blogger. And like most bloggers, occasionally I get writer’s bloc
One day while racking my brain for something to blog about, I decided to use some of the tricks I use to generate cartoons to come up with some blog ideas.
It worked great, so I put together a comic strip (what else?) to show how bloggers can borrow techniques used by cartoonists to push past blogger’s block.

We’ve gained a significant number of readers sicen we launched this — and it has changed a little — so I figured I take a second here to draw everyone’s attention to a little promotional project we’re doing at Webcomics.com.

As we come to the end of the first month of the new Webcomics.com, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what has been an amazing four weeks.
Moving to the subscription model caused an uproar. People could not understand how we could possibly place our site behind a pay wall. The backlash was tremendous.
And so was the support. I can say, without exagerration, that our membership today easily exceeds where I’d expected it to be by a factor of three.
