After buying Wibiya in April 2011 for a reported $45 million, Conduit is folding the Web-app platform at the end of the year.

I endorsed Wibiya in June 2010. I thought it was particularly strong tool for non-WordPress users to add social-media functionality to their sites. Since converting to a Comic Easel/WordPress CMS, I’ve substituted JetPack for this functionality.
