Split Lip
Split Lip is a horror anthology series written by Sam Costello and drawn by artists from all over the world, including Kyle Strahm (Spread; Image), John Bivens (Dark Engine; Image), Sami Makkonen (Deadworld: Slaughterhouse; IDW), T.J. Kirsch (Amy Devlin Mysteries; Oni), Christine Larsen (Valentine), David Hitchcock (Springheel Jack; Titan), and Felipe Sobreiro (The Strange Talent of Luther Strode; Image).
Split Lip eschews traditional horror archetypes like vampires and zombies in favor of weird tales and disturbing moments in the vein of Asian horror movies, fiction by Joyce Carol Oates and Brian Evenson, and comics by Charles Burns and Emily Carroll.
It features 38 original comics, totaling over 550 pages. The series was on hiatus from mid-2012 to October 2014, when it relaunched.
