Sherpa Safari – Month Two

Promises-logoThis post has been generously submitted by Webcomics.com Member, J.R. Faulkner,
creator of Promises, Promises.

I’m now eight weeks into the great Sherpa safari and my impressions of this service are not improving.

One of my big beefs from the beginning has been the issue of processing time. Things like thumbnail pictures, additional info and the first posts took about a week to show up, but my “promo copy”, (the text that is supposed to sit in the comics’ sidebars) still hadn’t been posted after six weeks. So I emailed both of my support contacts to find out what was holding things up. My Sherpa-sherpa seemed surprised that it hadn’t already been posted (me too), and said he’d look into it. I got an email today from the other Sherpa-sherpa to let me know it was posted and apologised for the delay. Very polite and professional, can’t ask for more than that.

Oh, but wait…
