Artist Edition

Having discussed a strategy for auctioning off the first Artist Edition when launching a new book, it came to my attention that "Artist Edition" wasn't necessarily a universal term.

An Artist Edition is a book in which the cartoonist draws an illustration (like the one to the right) inside the book (for an additional fee) before sending it to the buyer. In my experience the following elements contribute to a successful Artist Edition offering:
