Brad Guigar

Brad started creating a six-day-a-week webcomic called “Greystone Inn” (www.greystoneinn.net) in February 2000. It was carried in a few newspapers — the largest of which was the Phialdelphia Daily News. After five years, he ended “Greystone,” and spun-off “Evil Inc” — a comic about a corporation run by super-villains for super-villains, which is also carried by daily newspapers. In addition to “Evil,” Guigar also create two weekly comics. “Courting Disaster” (www.courting-disaster.com) is a single-panel comic about love and relationships. “Phables” (www.phables.com), a longform comic about everyday life in Philadelphia, was nominated for an Eisner Award for Best Digital Comic in 2007.

Brad is the author of “The Everything Cartooning Book,” and he lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Caroline, and their two sons, Alexander and Maxwell.
